Michaela Zein
Fantail was founded by Michaela Zein, a Xero advocate of more than six years with over 25 years in the industry. She specialises in understanding business processes and finding the efficiencies that turn raw bookkeeping into genuinely useful management-accounting information.
Michaela qualified as a Chartered Accountant in New Zealand while at KPMG, then went on to be Commercial Accountant for one of New Zealand's largest FMCG companies. Her experience spans retail, fashion and the creative industries, and stretches internationally across Ireland, France, Indonesia, New Zealand and the UK — including a contract as Group Accountant for a large UK multinational.
An Associate Chartered Accountant of the ICAEW, she brings proud Kiwi heritage and a positive, can-do attitude to every client she works with.
